Thomas Chiappetta

Thomas is originally from Stamford and has always had an affinity for the outdoors. He loves to hike and forage for wild mushrooms. He taught himself wilderness survival skills, which lead to learning how to identify toxic and edible plants and fungi. Thomas hasn’t always been a gardener; he spent most of his life playing baseball and eventually played at Manhattanville College as a pitcher. He went to college to become a Sound Engineer but left school to return home and work. Thomas has worked around and with flowers and plants for the past 3 years and has helped his grandfather and his girlfriend’s grandmother maintain their personal gardens. He grows and harvests his own vegetables to help feed his 6 guinea pigs (Delilah, Ophelia, Belladonna, Jade, Rose, and Gomez) and his black rabbit  (Janet). He is also keeping a garden devoted to poisonous and toxic plants and flowers.
