Brendon Recce

Brendon is a Connecticut native, being born and raised in Shelton. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2019, majoring in Geography with a concentration in Applied Sustainability. It was here that Brendon became passionate about sustainable agriculture and food production, something he sees as a major facet of responsible environmental stewardship. After college, Brendon worked on a 40 acre vegetable farm in Shelton for two years as part of the harvest team and market crew before leaving to explore other opportunities. After a few jobs that weren’t quite the right fit, Brendon found himself wanting to return to farming/garden work. This led him to Homefront Farmers, a place he appreciates for their sustainable practices and values. When he isn’t in a garden, Brendon spends his free time hiking, longboarding, and enjoying the company of friends and family.
