Brookelynn Petracca

Brookelynn’s journey into the world of green thumbs began amidst the halls of Naugatuck Valley Community College. It was a botany class that first piqued her interest and revealed her true calling. Immersing herself in horticulture, she cultivated her knowledge and skills. With an associate degree in hand, she landed at a landscape design company that specializes in ornamental gardens.

It was here she found herself amongst a few wonderful women who introduced her to the world of homesteading and growing food with organic practices. In moments of leisure you can find Brookelynn tending to her edible garden and bird watching! She also enjoys sharing her knowledge of native plant species and the impact of invasive species with family, friends and anyone she comes across. She aspires to further nurture her passions and knowledge with Homefront Farmers.
