Sam Spano

Sam is passionate about wellness through nature, one herb at a time. She enjoys infusing her homegrown herbs into tinctures and salves, or making custom tea blends to share with her family and friends. Growing up, Sam would always watch her grandpa in his vegetable garden, and learned a lot from working alongside him. He taught her all his gardening tips, tricks, and superstitions. Professionally, Sam started out as a florist, and eventually moved on to seasonal container gardening, essentially creating “living floral arrangements”. She enjoys beautifying spaces with the bold colors and textures of different flowers, but her main interest is vegetable, fruit, and herb gardening. Sam’s connection with gardening and herbs is what keeps her grounded in life and connected to her ancestors. She is very excited to be working at Homefront Farmers, and can’t wait to expand her knowledge and experience in organic farming.
